Women avoiding Gym for the fear of being judged.

Women avoiding Gym for the fear of being judged.

Hello readers, this is Vicky again back with a new post, first of all, I am sorry that I was not able to update posts since few days this was because I was too busy in my office. But please do not worry I promise you that I will come up with awesome and informational posts every week. It has been a bit hard for me to post daily because of my office, I hope you understand. So, let’s not waste more time and start our post “Women avoiding Gym for the fear of being judged.”

Have you ever thought about this? Women are avoiding gym for the fear of being judged, This is quite natural I guess because when you go to the gym for the first time you do feel like that someone is judging you for not being quite fit, are they noticing my sweat stains, are they noticing my love handles? And when you realize that this is just your imagination you have already spent months in the gym and you have got an awesome frame of your body, congrats you are more confident now, According to research The list of gym fears goes on. Fifty-five percent of women feel they’re being judged for “not looking fit enough,” 49 percent fret about their clothing choice, and 25 percent fear to be stereotyped.

But you know what? People in Gym does not care about what others look like? Because they are so serious about their body actually they do not have the time to judge you, correct me if I am wrong but I guess this is the reality.
Women are the strongest maybe not physically but emotionally, They know how to handle the things besides you.
What has happened to you? There is no need to feel low about yourself girl because you are there to workout and make your body fit right? What is the point of feeling low about yourselves when you have not even started?

Maybe there are people who judge you based on your appearance but trust me they are jealous of you because they are not the one who comes to the gym to workout.

There are some reasons for gym anxiety that are out of your control: 5 percent of women reported being sexually harassed at the gym. “There is no excuse for sexual harassment and you should report anyone to management immediately if you feel harassed or threatened in any way,” Borden says. “That goes for members and inappropriate personal trainers.” Sadly, they’re definitely out there.

Jennie Price, Chief Executive of Sports England said:

Women do less sport and exercise than men, but most say they would like to do more. So we had to get to the bottom of what’s holding them back. We found out by talking to women of all ages up and down the country that what’s stopping them is fear, fear of judgement: whether that’s about how they look, whether they’re any good at it, or feeling guilty about spending time on themselves.

“Whichever way you slice it, women’s fear of judgment is sapping their confidence. This Girl Can is a celebration of all the women who are finding the confidence to exercise: it’s an attitude, and a call to action for all women to do the same.”

Mumsnet CEO Justine Roberts added:

“The thing that goes out of the window when you have a family is time for yourself, and sport falls squarely into that category. Even keen sportswomen struggle to find time to exercise once they’re at their family’s beck and call and essentially knackered.

“Funnily enough, though, dads still manage to enjoy their ‘me time’ – not surprising given Mumsnet research shows that working women undertake double the number of chores as working men.”

So, girls, I do not think that it is correct to stay in your home and killing your fitness dreams just because the society will judge you? I say take your time, go out and do whatever you want. Trust me if someone will judge you then he/she will be the one who will clap on your success in the end.

This post was not about what is written above, but I just wanted to talk about this and share this thing with you.

So, in today’s post, we are going to talk about some workout and daily habits of the which can be improved on women.

  1. Never miss post workout meal, many women ignores the post workout meal because they do not want to undo the calories they’ve burned but getting a combination of 10 to 15 grams of protein and 20 to 30 grams of carbohydrates within 30 minutes of your workout will help to refuel your body, promote muscle recovery, amp up your energy, and build a leaner physique.

  2. Mind your workout, it is often that we get lost in the awesome playlist and workout, but by doing this we forget about our hard work we are doing and you can forget about seeing results too. There is a huge difference between going through the motions of an exercise and truly thinking, feeling, and engaging the key muscles.

  3. Tackle your mind, when you aim exact then it is really hard to accomplish it because you have no control over it right for example, you have targeted 8pounds weight loss in four weeks, but if you did not accomplish that then you might be disappointed, but if you keep such range like 5-10 pounds in 4 weeks you will surely accomplish it 🙂

  4. If you are unable to do that pull-ups then no worries you can just hang on the bar as long as possible if you do not have enough strength then it does not means that you will stay away from the bar.

  5. Before you start a juice cleanse diet, know that drastically restricting your caloric intake to drop pounds may backfire: In a 2010 study, women placed on a 1,200-calorie diet for three weeks had elevated levels of cortisol, our primary stress hormone.Chronic stress has been associated with an increased risk of weight gain as well as coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, and impaired immune functioning.

  6. If you are going to the gym more then 3 months and still you are unable to see any changes then dear it is a time for change, change of exercise,“The reason most people don’t see changes isn’t because they don’t work hard—it’s because they don’t make their workouts harder,” says Adam Bornstein, founder of Born Fitness. His suggestion: Create a challenge every time you exercise. “Use a little more weight, rest five to 10 seconds less between sets, add a few more reps, or do another set. Incorporating these small variations into your routine is a recipe for change,” he says.

  7. Find an instructor who motivates you to get out the door or turn on a video—they will be your best advocate,” Becker says. If you look forward to seeing your favourite Pilates teacher, you’ll be more likely to hit the studio regularly. Same goes if you love a trainer’s energy on their DVD or online videos.

  8. Always keep snacks handy, you don’t ever want to be in a situation where you’re hungry, but don’t have anything healthy to eat. I know that hurts right?

  9. Always stay active, in the gym, there is a quote ” eat like a nutritionist, sleep like a baby, train like an athlete and win like a champion” well this still applies but apart from this there are some rules which need to be followed. The best example of staying active would be taking stairs instead of elevators and escalators. Hope you got it.

  10. Last but not the least, get time for yourself. Get some time from your work from your gym and take a breather as it will encourage you to do more and more.

Let us talk about some diet plans that will help you lose weight faster.
